Personal Caregiver , Home Companion
Excellent Home Care Agency seeks experienced applicants for Caregivers in the Home as Personal Companions and Caregivers. Position offers applicants opportunity to work one-on-one in the home providing care to their individual client. Caregivers provide a wide range of companion and personal care services including running errands; transportation and escorts to appointments; assistance with personal care like bathing assistance, hygiene, grooming, toileting and incontinence care; assist with meal preparation; light housekeeping services and other household chores like laundry, bed making, changing linens, washing dishes and sweeping. Before hire, candidates have background check and TB testing. After hire, additional training available.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Pleasant, friendly, warm, caring and experienced person; Prior Caregiving Experience in-home or related field required; Certification is not required but preferred; High level of professionalism, motivation and positive attitude desired; Ability to work independently and stand/walk for extended periods of time; Must have reliable insured vehicle and proof of insurance; Must have valid Driver's License; Need access to cell phone; Must have integrity and be trustworthy; Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week and some weekends.
