Responsible for performing the day-to-day operations in the shipping and receiving department.
+ Under general supervision, follows established company policies and procedures and applies acquired job skills to unload raw materials and production supplies from incoming trucks; stores in appropriate areas. Coordinates with Quality Systems, as necessary.
+ Inspects documents attached to incoming loads, completes receiving paperwork, signs for incoming deliveries, and maintains shipping/receiving logs and records.
+ Prepares outgoing deliveries to warehouse.
+ Pulls and stages outgoing deliveries per SAP pick list. Prepares and loads outgoing trucks with products and prepares necessary paper work.
+ Removes finished product from production area and store in product hold areas, if applicable.
+ Maintains QC Hold/Release labeling of raw material and products.
+ Maintains responsibility for finished product packing list and bills of lading, including preparation, accuracy, and associated filing.
+ Responsible for receipt and distribution of incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing deliveries.
+ Maintains accurate shipping and receiving logs.
+ Responsible for inventory accuracy. Performs inventory control count. Works closely with internal and external inventory management personnel.
+ While performing required duties must adhere to current Good Manufacturing Procedures.
+ Performs daily maintenance checklist on all forklifts.
+ Participates in all activities required to maintain a clean and safe plant.
+ Responsible for answering phones and scheduling/receiving deliveries.
+ Responsible for receiving tanker trucks.
+ Performs functions that require full knowledge of general aspects of the job.
+ Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
+ Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
+ Reviews and complies with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
+ Assists with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
+ May be required to work in production, as needed.
+ Other duties as assigned.

+ Normal working conditions consist of hot and cold environments, wet and dry conditions, loud and dusty areas.
+ Proper Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times.
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and to sit, stand, kneel and bend for long periods of time.
High School Diploma required.
+ Minimum 1 ? 2 years of related experience.
+ Experienced in the operation of a forklift. Forklift license.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
